Everyone,

It is really sad to have to hear the news about Mike. We were in 1st through 4th grade together at St. Stephens. Even though he left CHS before graduating we were good friends and managed to keep in touch over the years.

Mike, I hope you are having your best jam sessions ever in heaven. We all miss you, but we'll catch up with you there soon. My apologies Mike, but I have to let everyone see our last e-mails ...

Mike -- Its great to hear from you. When I met Sandy and Steve this summer in DC we talked about you and the glory days of of CHS and St. Stephens Tigers. I told them the story of throwing you that last second TD pass against St. Paul's. Remember? And then meeting up with you as sort of a family cousin at Gretchen and Franky's. I hope you are doing good. Too bad we missed you at the reunion. It was really great to see everyone. Maybe next time.
Take care! Jimmy

I'll have to share a secret of sorts with ya'll about Mike--he has two blonde, brown eyed children, a boy and a girl, Jake and Sally. I'm describing his two chihuahuas. They are both yappie, tooth snarling, ankle biting, little 5 pounds bundles of holy terror. But when scooped up into his arms they became devoted, loyal companions. You just gotta love a guy who loves his dogs. I can remember being out one evening and Mike having to go home early to check on them- like a devoted father. It makes me smile when I remember seeing him holding those two tiny creatures and gleaming with pride.
