Hello Classmates, I am so sad to hear of Renee's passing. She said that she was going to defeat this illness. She just wanted to live to see her children grow older and to witness the birth of grand babies. We laughed about it... We both wanted the same, to witness the birth of our grand babies. We both have none. Renee flew down from Chicago to attend Gail's funeral and from my understanding, she passed away on the same day she flew down to attend Gail's funeral, 28 Sept. While sitting side by side during the funeral @ St. Joseph, she repeatedly stated that she wanted Gail to come to Chicago for treatment b/c she was doing so much better, but Gail refused to go to Chicago. Renee and I held hands until it was time for me to speak on behalf of the Class of 1974. Renee was truly grieving on that day. After the funeral, Renee and hubby flew back to Chicago because she couldn't miss her medical treatment. Class of 1974 has lost another LINK. We must go on, Renee would want that... She was so pretty!!! Another Reunion, PLEASE!!!

Renee was such a gentle soul and a beautiful spirit, on the outside AND on the inside. Whenever I was with her, she always made the world a brighter, calmer, sweeter place. She was always a LADY and was discerning and compassionate in her friendships and choices. She will always have a special place in my heart and among her classmates. God bless her family.
